PRICING WITH PURPOSE

At Goodenough Consulting (GC), we believe culture and systems-change work should be accessible to organizations of all sizes and budgets. We also share our rates openly to remove barriers, build trust, and model the transparency and accountability we bring to every engagement.

Our pricing is purposely guided by two principles: sustainability (so we can keep doing this work well into the future) and solidarity (so cost is never the reason important work doesn’t happen).

We partner with clients across the spectrum, from grassroots nonprofits to corporate teams, so we outline standard rates, while also offering guidance for equitable pricing (standard, solidarity, and pay-it-forward tiers) to help you budget for a rate that fits your resources and context, while also honoring the value of this work.

With our founder’s 20+ years of professional experience (plus the collective wisdom and brilliance of our GC collaborators), your investment reflects the time, skill, care, and emotional labor required to create quality, meaningful, and transformative learning experiences.

Equitable pricing acknowledges that financial capacity is not the same across all organizations.  When considering a financial investment in this work, your organization determines where it best fits. Review the guidance below, choose the tier that feels right for your capacity, and we’ll honor that—no documentation required; just an honest self-assessment.

Equitable Pricing Guide

  • Standard Rate: For organizations/individuals who can invest in the full value of our work

We encourage this pricing structure if:

    · You are an individual seeking personal or professional growth and possess the financial means to invest in self improvement at the standard rate.

    · Your organization has a mid-size budget and/or stable funding (annual operating budget between $500,000 and $5 million).

    · You have a professional development line item in your budget.

    · You are an established nonprofit, educational institution, small-to mid-sized business, or a moderately-resourced department within a larger organization.

  • Solidarity Rate: For under-resourced organizations/individuals

Let’s discuss solidarity pricing (below the standard rate) if:

    · You primarily serve or are led by historically and presently marginalized communities.

    · You are a grassroots group, volunteer-led initiative, early-stage startup, or small-budget nonprofit (annual operating budget is under $500,000).

    · Your highest paid staff member makes less than $70,000/year .

    · Your funding primarily comes from community fundraising or small grants.

    · You have little or no dedicated budget for professional development.

    · Your funding has been significantly reduced or withdrawn due to the current political climate, increasing authoritarian policies, or targeted backlash against equity and justice work—but your commitment to the cause has not wavered.

  • Pay-It-Forward Rate: For well-resourced organizations/individuals who want to expand access

Please inquire about Pay-It-Forward pricing (above the standard rate) if:

    · You are a well-resourced individual.

    · You are a corporate client or large, well-funded institution/organization (annual operating budget is over $5 million).

    · Your highest paid staff member is paid more than $150,000/year.

    · You have a substantial professional development budget.

    · You want to subsidize access so more people and organizations can participate.
